Opening the door to more creators who meet Raptive quality standards

Traffic has historically been a flagship metric for advertisers deciding where to spend their budgets. Alongside our stringent quality guidelines, Raptive’s 100,000 monthly pageview requirement has been a benchmark that helped brands understand the power of our network. 

And it’s been incredibly effective. Raptive creators and publishers have a strong reputation among advertisers, who know from experience that spending on Raptive sites yields results. 

It’s also been an important milestone for creators. We’ve heard from many of you over the years that when you hit that 100,000 pageview mark, you’ve made it. Reaching that level will always be a major accomplishment. 

Welcoming more quality creators 

But as the internet evolves, traffic becomes a less reliable way to measure what matters most. High pageview requirements can sometimes create a barrier to entry for sites with engaged audiences and strong quality content. 

In 2024, we launched Raptive Rise, a pilot program to give talented, up-and-coming creators a way to join Raptive sooner. The goal was to support quality creator sites between 50,000 and 100,000 monthly pageviews through standard ad layouts and self-serve support, while upholding the same quality principles that define Raptive. 

Over time, Rise taught us something important: quality can’t be defined by size alone. We’re living in a moment where AI drives inflated pageviews for low-quality websites and where algorithms can shift a site’s pageviews overnight. What truly matters—more than ever—is original, high-quality content that audiences trust.

A new pageview requirement

We recognize that it’s time to evolve our entry requirements to reflect the current reality of the industry, without compromising on the standards we’re known for. So we’re streamlining our service levels, retiring the Rise name, and updating our pageview requirements.  

From now on, we’ll require a minimum of 25,000 monthly pageviews to join Raptive, alongside our other eligibility requirements. Rise will now be folded into our first creator level, Insider. This change opens the door for more high-quality creators who meet every other requirement to join the Raptive network.

And good news—this also means that creators currently at the Insider level can now bring on additional sites when they reach 25,000 monthly pageviews. 

Introducing additional referral benefits

If you refer a creator whose site has at least 100,000 pageviews, you’ll get a $1000 referral bonus when they join Raptive. 

For a limited time, we’re also expanding our referral program! 

Between now and January 31, you may also be eligible to receive $250 when your referral joins with 25,000-100,000 pageviews. So if you know an amazing creator who is ready to join Raptive, now is the time!

Maintaining our quality standards

While 100,000 monthly pageviews is no longer a requirement to join Raptive, it remains a significant achievement. We recognize the countless hours and dedication that went into reaching that milestone, and it matters. 

Everything Raptive is today exists because of you, our creators and publishers. 

You’ve established the Raptive standard, and we’ll continue to uphold it by being selective about who we accept into the Raptive network, choosing those who share our commitment to quality and authenticity.
