Nina Ross

My name is Nina, and I have been running Homemaking.com for over ten years. I started it because I couldn’t find enough realistic, honest advice for creating a warm, welcoming home for people who are not professional interior designers or decorators. Whether you are trying to organize a cluttered wardrobe, learn cooking recipes for cookies, or want to make your home warmer, I wished to create a platform where one can find the necessary information to make life easier and more enjoyable.

What I love most about being a content creator is knowing that my work truly helps people. Whether it is advice on making a home safe and calm or recipes that families can prepare together, I always give practical ideas that people can apply in their day-to-day lives. When a reader tells me that they are now closer to their family or they have changed their routine based on something I wrote, that is the ultimate reward, and it keeps me going.

Over the years, I’ve built a community of readers who rely on me to provide them with credible and honest information. As you will see, one reader shared the story of how my advice and recipes brought her family closer during a difficult time. Reading stories like that makes me realize that even though people may get connected through the internet, it is still a real connection. Whether preparing a good meal or redesigning a living room, my goal is to make a real change in the lives of my readers.

However, I fear that the search engine updates may reduce the amount of exposure such content receives, and thus, people may not get to read genuine human-generated content like mine. If general artificial intelligence instructions rise, the audience will unlikely receive the specific guidance they require. Search engines and social media should focus on human-created content, although AI can assemble beneficial data from reputable sources. If people see their traffic go down, they lose the motivation to create new content. The internet should be a place where you can avoid digging through pages of automatically generated content to find accurate, helpful info such as trusted homemaking tips and loved and guarded recipes.

Let’s keep it real—because the internet should be a place where genuine, human stories, and advice thrive.
