Hi! I’m Taryn Scarfone from Joy Filled Eats, A Grill for All Seasons, and Baking Me Hungry.

I have always loved to cook and bake since I was a child. As a teenager, I got into photography and ended up pursuing a degree in visual arts with a concentration in photography. In 2015 as a stay-at-home mom of 4 children, I decided to start a food blog as a hobby. It quickly grew and started to generate full-time income for my family. Since then I’ve had two more babies and started two more blogs.

It’s been a blessing that I’ve been able to work at home while my children were little. The income from my websites enabled my husband to leave his full-time job and pursue his dreams of starting a coaching business. My favorite part of being a content creator is connecting with my audience. Getting emails from readers saying that I’ve helped them in their kitchens feed their families great food keeps me going.

I also love that blogging has become a family business. In addition to pursuing his own business, my husband Paul does a lot of recipe creation for our grilling and smoking site. Hanging out together in the kitchen and creating delicious food is one of our favorite things to do. I started my baking and dessert site with my 15-year-old daughter. She does more than half of the food photography for that site now and has recently started doing some photography work for other bloggers. My oldest son schedules a lot of our social media posts. 

With our three websites combined, we’ve created more than 1400 original recipes over the last 9 years that have reached over 40 million people. And we’ve been able to do that while loving and supporting our family. This is why I love being a content creator.
