We’re Adam and Joanne Gallagher, the creators behind inspiredtaste.net. We started sharing recipes online back in 2009. We had no idea the joy it would bring us to connect with people around the world through food. Recipes are more than a list of ingredients and instructions. They’re a way to share memories, create traditions, and express love.

We’re reminded of this daily through the messages we receive on Inspired Taste and our social channels. A few months ago, a daughter shared how she made our blueberry pie for her father, who was battling cancer. He ate almost half, reminiscing about his childhood on a blueberry farm. It was the last thing he ate before passing, and the shared memory will forever be in her heart and ours.

Countless grandmothers and mothers have shared heartwarming stories of how our pancake recipe has become a cherished family tradition, often made with love alongside their children and grandchildren. During the pandemic, our recipes offered comfort and a sense of normalcy to many. Their gratitude, in turn, uplifted us during those difficult times.

We’re honored by the trust people place in us. We understand that when someone chooses one of our recipes, they’re investing their time and often their hard-earned money. Our recipes need to work because we know the challenges of busy lives and the need for nourishing food. We know them because we are often overwhelmed and stressed and need nourishment, too. We are human. We are real.

Over the past 15 years, we’ve witnessed the evolution of technology. While we embrace progress, we hope that AI will enhance human connection, not replace it. AI should uplift us, not isolate us. Let’s keep it real.
