As the name of her site insists, founder Lauren Allen believes that everything, indeed, Tastes Better From Scratch. It’s a nod to her upbringing—she grew up in a home where making meals from traceable ingredients was valued. She also has a particular affinity for sharing Mexican and Spanish recipes with readers, after having lived in both those countries.

I love TBFS for sooo many reasons: ease of meal planning, great recipes that keep us trying new foods, shopping lists that make weekly trips a breeze, and lastly, you, Lauren, for sharing your family and adventures with us.
