In late 2016, I started Tea for Turmeric on a whim as soon as my then 6-month-old daughter went down for a nap. Eight years in, I still feel grateful every day to have started on this path. I can’t imagine any job as naturally pleasurable to me as this one. Cooking, writing, critical thinking, growing, learning, expanding—I just can’t get enough.

Even more so, I can’t imagine a career where I could have had such an impact. I’m so grateful to receive emails and DMs from readers who find so much value in what I share. The trust they place in me fuels me to keep giving them my best.

As content creators, our value lies in our experiences, our ability to think creatively, and our drive to make and share something truly great. AI is a great tool, but can it really create something incredible? We don’t want an internet filled with homogenous, mediocre recipes and content.
